OS Membership with Stripe Issue was created by Erika
Hi,
I have two issues with the Membership Stripe plugin.
1. When one chooses a membership and goes to pay, the drop down menu showing the credit card type only shows Discover, and not Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. I have also purchased the payment plugin for stripe for Payment Form and it automatically shows all four credit card types in the drop down. Again, for the Membership credit card type, it only shows discover.
2. having issues with recurring payments. I have added the webhook into stripe (with updated url of course). When I go to pay for the recurring payment plan, I get this message:
Message
You need to publish atleast one payment plugin so that the system can work properly
I have the payment plugin set to published and to support recurring payments. I do have it in test mode - would that make a difference?
Thank you for your help!

Hi Erika
Are you use correct MP Stripe payment plugin? If the plugin is correct, there should not be the error like you said. Maybe you are using the Stripe payment plugin of Payment Form for Membership Pro and it causes the issue?

It should be right. The name of the file is os_osm_stripe.zip and I purchased it off the membership pro page. Also, the readme.txt says the below, which confirms it is for membership. I use both payment form and membership pro on my site and need the stripe payment plugin to work for both. Initially I actually tried to install the stripe payment plugin to the membership pro because I thought the stripe payment plugin worked for both payment form and membership pro, but it wouldn't even allow me to install it and I got an error message saying it was the wrong product. So I purchased both stripe payment plugins - the one for payform form which works perfectly and also the one for membership pro which doesn't work. The payment form stripe plugin is named os_pmf_stripe.zip and did not come with a read me and I'm sure I didn't accidentally install the wrong file, because like I said, it wouldn't allow me to install it when I did try it. Here is the membership pro stripe plugin read me text:
1. Go to Membership Pro -> Payment Plugins, install the payment plugin
2. Click on the payment plugin to edit, then publish it
3. If you use recurring subscription plans, you will need to login to your Stripe account, add a "Webhook URL" below:
domain.com/index.php?option=com_osmember...ent_method=os_stripe
(Of course, need to replace domain.com with your website url)
