Login options after subscription has expired

This could possibly the wrong place to post this but I am using membership pro with community builder and have run into an issue, basically when the membership expires the user can still login and see everything a registered user can see - So my question is how to do i send the expired user to a renew form instead of just giving them access to everything a registered user can see?

Your approach is wrong, I am afraid of. When users sign up to Membership Pro, instead of just assigning to Registered group and giving access to restricted resources to Registered group, you should create a new Joomla group called Subscribers (child of Registered group) and config Membership Pro to assign your subscribers into that Subscribers group (see documentation at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration )

Then only giving access to restricted resources to that Subscribers group instead of Normal Registered group

That would solve the issue you are having now
