Importing from csv and creating joomla account was created by Alan Henness
When I create new subscription, a new joomla account is created so the OS Membership - Account creation plugin is published and working. But when I import a list of subscribers from a csv file, no joomla account is created. The csv has username and blank password fields.
Have I missed something?
What does the OS Membership - Userprofile plugin do? I'm not sure I understand what the description means:

This plugin is used to Add Subscribers to Userprofile when they subscribe for a subscription plan.

Hi Alan
Could you please send us a sample of the CSV file which you are importing so that we can check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you ?
Normally, when there is username and blank password, the system will create a random password for the user account and the account should still being created

Tuan
Thanks for replying.
See the attached anonymised csv with 20 entries. I have given ten of them user names and left the password field blank. I have tried importing this specific test file and no joomla user accounts are created for any on them. All fields seem to be imported correctly.
Alan
ETA: Oops, I didn't upload the file but including both csv and txt.

Should attached files appear in the post or are they sent to you, Tuan?

I thought the problem might be that I had not mapped the fields to joomla fields, but it looks like that is done automatically for first name and last name.

Maybe you can :
1. Submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site
2. Send us the csv file
I can ask my dev to check and import it for you
Regards,
Tuan

Before I do that, can you tell me what plugins I need to have enabled and what settings I need to have to make the import work properly?

Tuan
Can you let me know the settings I need to have - I may have not enabled something or have a setting wrong. If that doesn't work, I can then submit a ticket.
Thanks.

My apologies - I've been busy with other things recently and not had time to even look at this, but I hope to have time this weekend to try to sort this out.
Tuan: can you tell me what the right settings, etc are so I can check that first before wasting your or your dev's time?
I can certainly send you a csv file, but it is test data at the moment so I need the problem resolved so I can import various other test files and, eventually, the final data when we go live.

Hi Alan
1. There are some notes which you can see at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/subscr...t/import-subscribers
2. You just need to send us a sample csv file contains one or two records so that we can help you to check the format. That should save time of both of us
Regards,
Tuan
