Hi

Please enter the URL without www. After that, it should work well

Regards,

Tuan

This doesn't seem to work for me. I have a series of video files I'd like to restrict so people can't just share the links to the video file.

HI Vinny

The URL access settings can only protect a page generated by Joomla (for example, an article). It could not protect access to a static URL like that (the Above url only link to a fixed resource, it is not handled by Joomla)

So basically, Membership Pro cannot restrict access to that kind of urls

As it is not an URL generated by Joomla, we could not handle the restriction using Joomla.

Maybe you can try to find to see whether there are any extension which can be used to display the video and hide the source of the video file ?

Then you can use Membership Pro to restrict access to the URL of that video page. I think that's the only workaround for now
