CSV Subscriber Import was created by Alan Bennett
I am new to this extension and so far I absolutely love it. It fills all the gaps I suffered with RSMembership.
One thing I need to do is import a whole series of members who have existing membership numbers.
Is it possible to make a change to include this in the import?
If not I guess I can create a custom field to import into then write some SQL to copy it into the Membership Pro standard field.
Regards
Alan

Hi Alan
The extension support importing subscribers from a CSV file. Please see joomdonation.com/forum/membership-pro/50...bscriber-import.html for instruction
So basically, you should find a way to export your old subscribers from RSMembership to a csv file, then use CSV import feature to import these subscribers into Membership Pro

I had already looked at the import and had generated the sample file.
I had assumed that all available fields to import into are listed in the smple, but they arent.
I added membership_id as a column and it did import correctly.
I also tried to import created_date but this was overidden by the from_date
I will keep experimenting.
Many thanks.

Don't use that sample file. It is too basic. Each site setup has it own csv file template. To get the template with your setup, go to Membership Pro -> Subscriptions -> CSV Import Template to download the sample csv file with your system setup
