Not getting registration errors was created by Bahb

Hi, I'm setting up Membership Pro in Joomla 3.4.4 on MAMP and I'm still trying to get things set up.

I have the registration screen working and if you enter all the info correctly a user account is made. But if you do not fill out the required info or a correct email address I don't see the error messages. I see it working properly on the demo site. Could it be I don't have all the plugins needed turned on?

I have added a "Validation error message" for email in Custom Fields and it is required. When I click Process Subscription I get this error message:
Please enter information on the form below to process subscription for (plan name). But I don't get the red bubble over the email field with my error message.

Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure you already checked this but anyway.
Have you checked the radio box "required"?

If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem can not be solved, worrying will do you no good.

Hi, yes that box is checked. It does work to stop registration.

Ah, I found it. I have a plugin that removes mootools. If I disable it the error messages work as expected.

I notice Membership Pro loads jQuery, does it also need Mootools? I'd prefer not to load it.

The plugin doesn't need mootools. We don't use Mootools anywhere in the extension. Maybe there is some javascript conflict between your plugin and our extension ? You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can try to take a look at it

Thanks, this issue was the other plugin causing problems. The error messages are working fine now that I've removed it.
