Renew Membership not working

Renew Membership not working was created by Arthur Falconer
I am trying to get the renew membership to work.
I set up a Renew Membership item and when I click it says log in which is OK, when I login i get a message "There are no renew option available for your membership". (see image)
I have also attached an image of my Membership Plan settings. I have tried it with and without the figures in the recurring and the Renew settings area.

Hi Arthur

With a recurring subscription plan, the renewal will happen automatically without requiring any action from end-users. That's the reason there are no renew option message is being displayed.

Renewal only requires for onetime subscription plan, not recurring plans
