Membership Pro was created by Bob Gladson
Just purchased Membership Pro need to configure to do the following....
I have users currently registered that I want to give lifetime access to all content at no charge.
I need to have all new users pay a access fee for specific periods of time before they can have access to any content.
Currently all they have to do is register and all content is visible without subscribing.
Appreciate any assistance..
Thanks

Hi Bob
To be honest, I don't know what's the best setup. So I think you can try to setup it using Joomla core ACL restriction method. Please see documentation.joomdonation.com/membershi...sing-joomla-core-acl for instructions
Basically, you will have to create a subscription plan, then config it so that when users sign up for that plan, they will be assigned to the Joomla user group you want.
After that, you setup your content so that only users from that group can see these content (via access level).
The last steps is that for current existing users, you edit these users, assign them to the new user group which you just created so that they can access to these content without having to pay
That's the general idea. Please try to setup and ask me any other questions if needed
