Prevent Duplicate Subscription

I have recently purchased membership pro and I need to set it up so that a user can choose a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year membership. Once they subscribe to one of these plans, I would like to prevent them from subscribing again (to any plan) until they are within 30 days of their renewal date. Is there any way to do this?

Unfortunately, the extension doesn't allow this option by default. You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site. We will edit code to make it works like that for you

Thank you for the offer. To prevent problems when updating to a new release, I would like to edit the code myself so that I can make the changes again if I need to. Is that acceptable?
I am also wondering if your module that displays the subscription plans in the pricing table could be styled the same way as the component? The styling in the module is very different.

=> It will be difficult for us to guide you to do the modification than doing it ourself. What if we do the modification and then tell you where we made the modification so that you can track the code and do it yourself in the future? Will that work ?

=> Please try to get this updated Membership Plans module, upgrade it to your site. Then config the module to use pricing table layout and it should work well

Thank you for helping me last year customize your code to not allow the same person to subscribe to more than one plan. I don't know if this is related to the customization (please remind me where you made this change), but I am now having a problem with expiration. When the subscription time period expires, the "active" status is not changing and the users are not being removed from the user group that I specify in the user group plugin.

Please let me clarify my last message. I have the Joomla User Group plugin activated and I am using the Joomla Groups tab within each plan to set which groups to assign on activation (this is working) and which groups to remove from on expiration (this is not working). I have three plans -- 1 year, 2 years and 3 years. All plans use the same groups for activation and for expiration.

The question is what's the status of the subscription record? Is it Active or Expired? Please let us know so that we could check it further
