Membership Number for Group Members was created by Sharon
Hi Tuan,
Another question...
We offer "GROUP MEMBERSHIP".
What this is - an organization can sign up for membership with up to 5 people, etc. under that one "NUMBER". You can see our Agency/NGO/Corporate membership here - www.aswm.org/8572-membership-pro-test
When they click the Sign Up button on the form - they can go ahead and list the names of people they wish to include in the membership. When they submit the form - we will see those people in the note to the ADMIN. This is all fine with us.
How can we assign membership numbers to these people and keep them part of that one group?
Not sure how to handle this? Is there a way to do this with Membership Pro?
Thanks.

Hi Sharon
It is not possible to handle that with your current setup. You need to use Group Membership Pro feature to setup it. Hope it works. The steps are :
1. Go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find and publish the plugin "OS Membership - Group Membership Plugin"
2. Now, edit the plan you are talking above, you will see a tab called Group Membership Settings. In that tab, you can enter number of Group members you want subscriber of that plan can add when they sign up for that plan. In your sample, you should enter 5 into the textbox in the tab
3. Create a menu item link to "Manage Group Members" view of Membership Pro
4. Now, when someone sign up for your plan, after his subscription is active, he can access to the above menu item to add group members. These group members will have same subscription with him (except they cannot add group members)
I think it will solve your issue/requirement. So please give it a try.

Hi Tuan,
I have done what you said above.
For No. 3 - Create a menu item link to "Manage Group Members" view of Membership Pro - I have setup Membership Pro in an Article - Not as a Menu item. You can see it here
www.aswm.org/8572-membership-pro-test
The article will eventually link from our "Join Page".
Is this not the right way to do it?
Thanks.
Sharon

Hi Sharon
The step #3 is not used display plans to end users so that they can sign up. That step is used so that the group admin (user who signed up for your plan) can access to to Add Group Members.
It is not related to the step you are talking about (the article....)
