Discount on renewal and expiration email

I hope you are well.

I have a few questions about Membership Pro that I hope you can help me with.

I am currently in the process of rebuilding a website for a client that was previously built using Community Builder and CBSubs and am wanting to change over to use Membership Pro instead of CBSubs.

1. My client has membership plans (non recurring) where they offer a $10 discount when renewed off the original price e.g. a plan that is $100 for the first year and then $90 per year. The member needs to be able to renew at any time (before and after expiration) to get this price not a set amount of time before expiration.

How can I set this up using Membership Pro?

2. Is there an email notification that can be sent upon expiration or after expiration to encourage renewal? I can see there are 2 renewal reminder notifications sent before expiration but is it possible to send one after expiration?

3. Is there a way to set the member ID number (Joomla user ID number) as the membership number? If not, is it possible to manually edit the membership number field per subscriber? With the client's current website they have the User ID as the Membership Number and I need to match this for the existing members and then set the next number as the starting number for the next subscriber.

4. Is there a way to make default Joomla registration redirect to the subscription plans menu item.

Your advice on these things is very much appreciated.

#1=> I believe you can solve it by creating renew options. Edit the plan, look at Renew Options tab and add the renew options you want. Each renew option contains number days and the price. You can create multiple renew options if needed (for example, 6 months 49$, 1 year 90$).

#2=> We haven't supported it yet. Haven't seen any customers asked for it before. Will consider adding support for it for future releases if there are more requests from other customers.

#3=> Sorry, Membership ID in Membership Pro is auto-generated. It could not be edited.

#4=> Just find and publish the plugin OS Membership - Registration redirect plugin

to topic 3:
since I am using OS Membership, I overwrite the Memberspip ID and save. There hasn't been any problem to save it.
Is it wrong, doing this?

As Membership ID is just used for display purpose (there is no special usage in the system), as long as you could save it, it should be fine
