Recurring Subscription was created by Bobby
Is it possible to create a manual recurring subscription from the backend? I want to be able to give a customer a subscription but after it expires the system prompts them to renew and charges them.

Hi Bobby
Unfortunately, it is not possible. Recurring subscription must be signed up in the frontend by subscribers (at that time, the recurring payment also registered with the payment gateway you are using).
Recurring subscription could not be setup from backend of your site

Tuan

I have my subs set to remind in 30 days and then again in 10 days. Is it possible to add a link or button to the email that allows the customer to repurchase the subscription after theirs has expired or while expiring? That way they will go through the automatic process of renewals.
Here is what the problem is, we sell these same subscriptions in the store and want to enter them into the site and allow the site to manage them when it's time for renewals.

Hi Bobby
I am not sure I understand your question correctly. I think you can:
1. Create a menu item on your site called Renew Membership or something like that which will be linked to Renew Membership view/option in Membership Pro.
2. Get the link of that menu item.
3. Add that link to the reminder email message
By doing that, when subscribers receive the reminder email, they can click on that link, login, choose the renew option to process renew membership...
Please give it a try

This is a great idea and I have implemented what you said but I'm having url issues. When putting the links in part of the link is dropped and I don't know why. I have even tried from the source code view and still a no go.
entered as (http);//mysite.com/store/renew-subscriptions
but saves as store/renew-subscriptions
It's dropping the beginning
Also when using the renew membership as a menu my test sub that I have on my account does not show up in there and yes renew membership is on. How do I get this to work for all subscriptions?

Hi
1=> For the link, I think it is stripped by the HTML editor you are using. Please go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find the editor plugin you are using, click on it to edit. There is a parameter called Link Type, set it to Absolute (it is relative by default). That should solve the first issue,
2=> For the second issue, I don't really understand the problem you are having. Could you please explain more details about it so that I can understand the problem you are having and get it sorted ?

When a customer has a subscription should it be listed under the renew membership menu? It says "There are no renew option available for your membership" when I click then menu.

The renew membership menu will display renew options available for that subscription. If you want to display subscriptions record of the user, you can create menu item to Subscription History view
