Membership Pro version 1.7.2 released

Today, I am happy to release next version of Membership Pro, version 1.7.2. In this new version:

1. We bring support for twitter bootstrap version 3 as a config option in the extension. This is main focus of this new release. To use this option:

- Your site must be a Joomla 3.x website

- Your site is built based on a twitter bootstrap 3 templates which has twitter bootstrap 3 loaded by default

- Then you can go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, change config options as below:
+Set "Load Twitter Bootstrap" config option to No (as it is loaded by your site template already)
+Set "Twitter bootstrap version" config option to "Twitter Bootstrap version 3"

2. Make it easier for admin to add new subscription record from backend of the site. Before, admin will have to enter subscription from date, subscription to date, amount... manually. Now, admin can leave it empty and Membership Pro will calculate it automatically.

3. Add a button to allow admin to choose a subscription record and process renewal. In case admin want to renew membership for someone, just select that subscription record, then press Renew Subscription button in the toolbar and membership pro will renew the subscription for him

4. Improve the ways renew options are displayed. Before, if you have renew options 365 days for example, the system will just display it as 365 days. Now, it will be displayed as 1 year, much easier to understand...

5. It also fixes some small issues and improve backend UI abit by adding filter options, allows selecting number of records displaying per page....

To use this new version, please access to My Downloads menu item, see your order, download latest version and upgrade it to your site

Very disappointed to see that not only am I still getting members' passwords, I'm also still only getting the 2 digit code for "state" instead of the name.

Did I miss a new setting that would allow me to switch those somehow?

You didn't miss any settings as we haven't added this change to the extension yet. Lets me quick working on it and send you updated version on Monday with these options

I updated the code on server (still keep version 1.7.2) with the requested improvements:

1. We now display full state name in the email

2. Admin won't receive user password for now

You can download latest version, upgrade to your site to get this improvements

Hello,

In the initial email, the Administrator is not sent the password, but if subscription details are included in any of the other Administrator emails, the password is included. Is there a place where I can edit/alter the code to remove it from the rest of the Administrator emails?

Could you please give us more detailed information ? What email you are talking about (which includes password) ?

I figured it out. I had changed the salutation Dear Admin to Dear Administrator. On the emails sent to Administrator if it had Dear Admin it blocked the password from being sent. The ones using Dear Administrator it sent the password. I realized you were blocking password sending based on the word Admin. I changed all of the Administrator emails to use Dear Admin and it blocked the password again.

=> I am sorry but it is wrong. I don't block password by the words in the email. If the email sent it admin, it won't contain the password.

Then there is a bigger problem because it is indeed sending the password sometimes. It appears that changing it back to Dear Admin stops the password from being sent, although I am waiting for another test renewal email to be sent. Attached are screenshots of two emails sent to the Administrator. One is a subscriber notification and the other is a renewal. The renewal admin notification contained the user password. The new subscriber email does not.
