Renewal process

Hi Tuan,
I have been trying to get this renewal system working the way I want it. Unfortunately failing dismally.
There are a few things I have found that need looking at:

1. Admins need to be able to set the system up and test it. The ability to send test emails is a must. Otherwise the first you know about an error is when a customer tells you or even worse doesn't tell you.
2. It is great to have the ability to host multiple plans but at the moment the user cant upgrade or downgrade to a different plan on renewal.

It would be great if you could address these two issues as at the moment I am not sure if the renewal emails are sending out - I have tried to use a test account without any luck.

Unfortunately, the two items you are asking for are not available in the extension and to be honest, it won't be available very soon.

1. The send test email feature is a nice to have, but I don't think it is a must. Even in Joomla core, we don't have that feature, so this is not a standard feature. As I mentioned, it is a nice to have feature, and I will consider adding support for it in the future. However, it doesn't have high priority right now, as I have other features I want to work on first.

2. About upgrade / downgrade to different plans. I don't think I agree with this. Renewal means renew your existing subscriptions, it doesn't contain upgrade. If you want users to upgrade membership, there are two ways :

- Access to user profile. Then on that profile, users can renew, upgrade membership

- You can also create a menu item to link to upgrade view of Membership Pro. Users can access to that menu item, see all the upgrade options and process the upgrade option they want.

In case you disagree with the items I mentioned above and could not use the extension because of the reasons, you can request us for refund and find a different extension (I am afraid of there are no available extensions have the feature you want)
