Double emails because of multiple "subscriptions"

This goes back to the architecture choice. I have not downloaded or turned on the module that keeps one subscription because I want a history record. So when a user renews early they get a new active subscription and still get notices from the expiring active subscription.

My users are getting confused.

Can you suppress pre and expiration notices when multiple subscriptions exist? Or add history to the "single subscription option".

What version of the extension you are having? I believe I fixed this issue before and it should not happens with latest version (1.7.x)

I am running the current version of the Component. 1.7.1
I am NOT running OS Membership - Simlizing

"By default, when subscriber renew his subscription, Membership Pro will create a new subscription record for him."
As a result it still send emails to my users when they renew early because the expiring subscription still sends them.
This is causing complaints still.

PLEASE CREATE CODE that SUPRESSES these un-wanted emails. This needs a code fix.

OS Membership - Simlizing was always a temporary patch, please create a permanent fix. The history of subscription is really needed so I cant use Similizing.

I sure hope you eventually get around to fixing this bug. This should be pretty easy to fix.

Please find a way to suppress multiple reminders for people who do not need reminded.

This is the forth request spanning a year now.

Please upgrade to latest version of Membership Pro (version 2.0.6 for now) and the issue should not happen anymore (at least I don't see any other customers report the issue like that)
