Renewal options was created by Mark Skillin
Hi Tuan
I have almost got this excellent extension working just as I want it.
I publish a monthly magazine and my existing subscribers are given free access to the website via a subscription plan called "existing subscribers" this plan lasts for a month and is free. When they subscribe I check their details and end enter the subscription end date manually.
This is all well and good but the problem appears when it comes to renewing their subscription as the only option shown is the "existing subscribers" plan. How do I disable the renewal to this plan and show the other plans?
Cheers

Hi Mark
You can edit the plan, set "Enable Renewal" and they won't be able renew for the plan.
Unfortunately, you could not have other options to show up as renewal will only display renew options for the plans which subscriber signed up for. If he has not signed up for a plan, no renewal options for that plan will be displayed

Hi Tuan,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I found the disable renewal option and whilst its not ideal it is better than nothing - is there anyway this feature could be implemented in a future version?
Cheers

Hi Tuan,
Quick question, if I turn off the renewal option in the plan, are the subscription ending warning emails still sent. If so I can customise the renewal email to point them to the right page.
Cheers

Hi Mark
Yes. The email will still be sent. And Yes, you can customize the email message to give link to allow them to access to correct page

Hi Tuan
Thanks for the quick reply,
Is it possible to send the renewal email manually for testing purposes.

That's unfortunate.
I have set up a test subscriber with the subs ending on the 30-4-2015 and set it to send a renewal email 11 days before.
I have the plan renewal options switched to NO. As I received no renewal email yesterday I thinks I can assume that it is not sending them out.
Without the ability to sent these emails manually I am at a loss to know how to proceed?
Any ideas.
Cheers
