Joomla user profile address fields

Hi
I have just noticed the when a new subscriber creates an account the joomla user profile address fields are not populated.
I have checked the plugin is enabled - have you got any suggestions as I now have 80 odd to manually put in and would like to get this sorted before too many more come in.

Hi Mark

Go to Membership Pro -> Custom Fields, edit the address field , look at "Joomla Profile Field Mappping", set it to The address field of Joomla core profile and it should work well

Thanks for the reply, I have set the field mapping and it works if I create a new subscriber from an existing user, however it does not work the other way i.e. when a user subscribes via the front end the address is not carried over to the profile. Also it puts both the first name and last name in joomla's first name field - causes havoc when users try to update their profile as joomla wants a last name before they can save
Any ideas?.

=> I don't see any reasons it doesn't work when you subscribe. Could you please submit a support ticket sending super admin account of your site so that I can check it directly on your site?

=> This is not clear to me. Joomla only has name field. and Membership Pro concat first name and last name from susbcription form to generate the name of user in Joomla. I think it is OK with that behavior. I don't see Joomla has First Name unless I mis-understand your question

Thanks for getting back to me, i will raise a support ticket for the first issue.
Forget the second issue, its because i am using a different plugin for the registration.

Great, thank you very much.

Just want to update that this is a bug in the extension in case you have "Only create user account when membership active/approved" config option set to Yes and I fixed it. In case someone has this issue, simply download latest version, upgrade it to your site and the issue will be fixed (I updated download package on server with this fix)
