Sorting problem in 'State' field type. was created by Mark
1=> When field type is set to 'State', several states in the dropdown are out order, making it hard for viewers to find. I saw the same question asked about 8 weeks ago, but can not find any answers. This is extremely important to my site. How can this be fixed?
2=> When adding a field with field type 'state', the dropdown does not work on the front end. When the viewer clicks on the title, the selection of state options should appear in a dropdown. But all that is visible is "Select State", which is the default text, with no states. I am using field type 'State' several times in one form - one for billing address and one for shipping address. It seems when I add a custom field using field type 'State', the dropdown does not work.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi Mark
1=> You can get this file, unzip it, upload to components/com_osmembership folder. After that, the state dropdown will be sorted by state name and it will be easier for user to find and choose the state he wants
2=> Not possible. With the way the extension is written, you can only has one state field type on the form

Thanks for the fix on issue #1.
Is there any chance that issue #2 can be changed to allow using the 'state' field type more than once in a form?

Hi Mark
For #2, I will try to find a solution for it in the future. For now, we have no way for doing that
