updating membership pro - fyi

I updated membership pro to 1.70. I had a few users sign up and realized that during the update, some of my plugins were disabled during the update which resulted in no creation of a Joomla User during their upgrades. It took a while to get it sorted out. I noticed this the last time I took an update, but thought it was something I did. Once the plugins are activated, updates should not change them back to their default setting.

I can tell you that the extension doesn't unpublish any plugins when you upgrade. But to be honest, I don't know why the plugins you are talking about were unpublished on your site. This doesn't happen to any other customers
