Include membership number in emails? was created by Christoff
Hi there.
Can anybody tell me how I can include a membership number in the emails that get sent out? I need it to be visible to the subscriber and also the admin that gets the notification.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I use the [MEMBERSHIP_ID] tag and works well for me.
Make sure that the membership_ID plugin is published

Hey thanks for your reply.
I'm trying that and I still can't get it to work. The plugin is enabled & seems to work fine as far as it assigns incrementing membership ID's & stores them into the database.
Perhaps it only works for certain emails? eg. first reminder, or new subscription or admin email body?
Which email/s do you have it working on @Paul Payette?

In the Subscription approved body email. I think the membership ID is released once the subscription status is set to ''active"

@Christoff: The extension only generate membership ID for subscribers once their status set to Active. What is the status of the subscriber in your case ? Is it Pending or active?

Thank you for your replies.
I'm testing this in reminder emails currently, but will need it on 'subscription approved' confirmations too as well as admin alerts. We would need it to show on as many emails as possible.
I realise that it cannot show on an incomplete subscription application, but in all of those cases the subscription would be active.
All assistance appreciated.
