Paid Member Sign-Up Not Working

Hello,
I just started testing the paid membership sign-up option and found that it does not provide the user with a way to setup a new account. What happens is that sign-up form takes the user to Paypal but after paying there is no email sent with an activation link and no opportunity for the user to create a password either. I expected it to work like the free membership option just without the Paypal step but it didn't. Help, please.

There might be something with your Paypal account. Could you please login to your Paypal account (which receives payment), access to History -> IPN History to see whether there are any IPN messages? If there are, what's the status of the message ?

I don't see any messages only the history of the transaction - payment and refund.

Then Paypal IPN is disabled in your Paypal account and you will need to enable it. When you enable Paypal IPN, Paypal will ask for IPN url, just enter URL of your site into that field

After that, please check it again and let me know the result
