Auto login not working

In the configuration, I have both Auto Login and Auto Reload User Group set to yes.

This is what I did. I created a new user account using Joomla's standard module. Then I went to subscription page to sign on for one year membership with 2 week free trial. After the payment is done ($0.00) and I was directly back to the site. But nothing happens. I can't see the restricted area.

I went to the back-end using my admin account, I found the new subscriber's Status is "Pending" not active. I had to manually change it.

Hi Frank

It is because the subscription status is Pending for some reasons. Could you please login to the Paypal account which receives payment, access to History -> IPN History to see whether there are any IPN messages? If there are, what are the status of the messages?

Please check it and get back to me so that I can check it further
