Sql error when edit and save subscriber was created by John O Connor
Hello Tuan,

I am using the latest version of Membership Pro.

When I edit a subscriber from PENDING to ACTIVE and click SAVE I receive the following error

SQL ERROR MESSAGE
DateTime::__construct() [<a href='datetime.--construct'>datetime.--construct</a>]: Failed to parse time string (2099-31-12 00:00:00) at position 6 (1): Unexpected character

NOTE: When I return to list of subscribers the subscriber is updated to active.

Thanks,
JohnO

Hi John

I think the reason is because you have a custom field date time but subscriber entered data for that field in a wrong format and it causes the issue. Maybe you can try to change that custom field from Date to Text and check it again ?

Regards.

Hello Tuan,

The only new filed added is the Vat field. No other filed added. Please see attached image.

Thanks,
John.

hello, I'm having this same problem after installing the latest update. Can you provide what the fix was? This only happens when I change the subscriber status from pending to active.

Thank you

Hi Seth

That's strange to me if you just change status of subscriber. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site so that I can check to see what's wrong and get it sorted?

@Seth - Can you post the sql error you are receiving so we can compare. Thanks,

@ Juan - Nothing strange about it Juan. Its the exact same issue I have reported to you. This has only happened since the latest update. And as I previously stated I did not created any new custom field. The only new field is the Vat field.

I cannot provide admin login details for obvious reasons. Any ideas for a solution?

Thanks,
JohnO

Strange. I will try the latest package (infact, finishing some improvements for new version 1.6.9 at the moment) and pick the issue (if it is valid). Please wait for me

Hi Tuan,

I am using memberhsip pro on 2 sites and have been getting this exact same error on both sites. I noticed it last week when changing status from Pending to Active.

One site does have a custom date field. The other site, however, does not -- only the standard date fields.

I am running Apache on Centos 6.5, latest Joomla releases.

DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (2099-31-12 00:00:00) at position 6 (1): Unexpected character

I am willing to pm you admin credentials so you can see it in action.
