Update Expired Member Status was created by Mike
Hi folks,
does the membership status update automatically on expiry?
I tested by adding a new ..... Current date was Jan 09 2015.
the record correctly shows: Created date Jan 09 2015, Active Date Jan 09 2015, Expiry Date Jan 09 2016.
Later I changed all of these fields to one year in the past (Created date Jan 09 2014, Active Date Jan 09 2014, Expiry Date Jan 09 2015.)
Then I changed the Expiry Date to on week in the past (Jan 02 2015)
The record is still active....... how do I get it to update automatically, since the current date (Jan 10 2015 is later than the expiry date of Jan 02 2015?
Do I need to run a CRON job????
thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
The status should be updated automatically, that's how it works.
I would suggest that you test it using this way:
1. Try to make a test subscription. Set expiration date to ""Tomorrow"
2. Wait until "tomorrow", then check it again
