I'm working on my test site and trying the invoice feature using 1.6.8 with Joomla 3.3.6. I'm seeing two issues:
  1. It seems that the when using the [YEAR] invoice prefix feature it is only being added to the Invoice numbers of recurring subscriptions and not one-time subscriptions.
  2. The increment feature is not working as expected either. With the same invoice number being used for multiple invoices.
Please see the attached screen captures. Please let me know if you need further information.

FYI - I am testing using the PayPal sandbox although I wouldn't expect that to be connected to this issue.

Hi Chris

Could you please delete all existing subscription records and try to test it again ? it seems the invoice number without YEAR prefix were created before you activate that settings ?

My responses are below:

Could you please delete all existing subscription records and try to test it again ?

An interesting observation is that there were other records, in addition to the ones you see in the screen capture, that were created before I changed the config settings and those actually have invoice numbers with the year and they are correct.

No, I updated to 1.6.8 and changed the config settings before I started testing. All of the test accounts you see in the screen capture were created after I changed the settings.

Hi Tuan,

I am developing a site and having the same issue of not getting the [YEAR] function to work. Meaning that I have the identical setup as Chris had in his attachment (InvoiceConfig.jpg) and get an output of "0:IDnumber" A '0' (zero) is produced instead of the the expected [YEAR] result.

This is a clean install site and I have deleted all test users and retried a number of times.

Have you came to a resolution with Chris on this?

I have the same problems with the invoice increment numbers and when use automatic year.

Thereby I have an strange 1064 code SQL when I wan to vieuw List Plan Details.

Can you also help me?
