Testing membership sign-up - not working

Hi,
I just started testing my membership sign-up prior to launch and it's not working. When I try to set up a free membership account it gives me the error message:
Error

The words you typed did not match the ones displayed. Please try again.

I have tried this numerous times with different names and email accounts and it only worked one time. What should I do to troubleshoot this problem. Thanks for your help.

Sorry to bother you. I found the problem. I hadn't activated the account creation plugin. I figured it was something simple on my end. Seems to be working now. I hope that you had a nice holiday season, Tuan.

Hi Karen

Seems related to K2 component. Do you use K2 component on your site? If so, please config K2 component to disable Captcha and it will work well (there is a bug in K2 relating this feature if I remember correctly)

Hi Tuan,
I disabled the captcha plugin and reset the captcha setting in Global Configurations to "none selected". Now the sign-up page won't even view, it's just blank.

I realized that you referred to the K2 captcha not the Joomla so I enabled the Joomla Captcha-Recaptcha and disabled the K2 Captcha and I get a blank screen when I attempt to get to a sign-up page.

I cleared the cache on my browser and was able to get to the sign-up form but when I submitted it I was taken back to a blank sign-up form and my template was broken.

Hi Karen

The reason is because you don't setup captcha for Membership Pro properly. Could you please follow the instruction at documentation.joomdonation.com/membershi...115-use-captcha.html to setup it?

I am sorry it took you much time with this small issue, If you want, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can ask my dev to setup it for you. It will only take us few minutes for setup/config it
