Reminder with negative number after expiration

Your ___ membership for plan Member-Family on our site will expire on 11-21-2014 (which is in -22 days from now).
My settings are for 30 and 7 days reminders for that plan. Members are unhappy with these extra reminders and I wonder what I might do to stop them. Thank you in advance for help and advice!

Give me few days to improve this feature. We will need to find a way so that reminder will be triggered by cron job, not by a system plugin
I will update the code and give a detailed instruction for this setup in the next few days. Please wait for me

One thing we hope that you will preserve is the feature (now in the plugin) that sends bccs of the reminders to an address of our choosing. This way, we can see who is getting reminders, and check accuracy and so on. So that function is really nice. When I saw some of the issues with reminders, I implemented that bcc, and just received the first copy of a reminder sent to a member. Very good.

I think BCC is a feature in the extension already (from 1.6.6 version if I remember correctly).

We use the most current version, and I was glad to see that in the plugin.
If you migrate functions, I would love to see that (bcc) retained in some way. It's helpful.

I am sorry. I was busy working with some changes in the extension because new EU VAT Rules and haven't had time to check this issue yet. I am going to check it next week.
Could you please let me know exactly what version of the extension you are using ? The subscription plan is onetime or recurring subscription plan ?

Thank you so much for getting back with me. I'm using Membership Pro version 1.6.7. The issue is happening on the onetime subscription plan. I do not think that my recurring plans are close to the expiration date yet, so I'm not sure if this will happen to them as well.
