Integrate Membership Pro with Joomla login

Hi,

I want to have a menu item Login that will show a Login form. As far I know from the forum Membership Pro doesn't offer just login form that can be display on the screen (It comes with registration. fair enough; it is also usful). So I have a Joomla native login form and need to integrate that with membership pro table storing subscribers.

How can I do that ? i.e. integrate existing (external) logging form with Membership Pro accounts (subscription)

Infact, when users sign up via Membership Pro, Membership Pro will create a Joomla account for him - so to allow subscribers to login, you can simply use Joomla Login form.

Does it make sense ?

I not quite sure you understood my question or I wasn't too clear.

I am using OS Membership Pro v. 1.6.6.
Subscription creation works fine, but what when user wants to come back another day to the website and login its account ? To go to registration form where the login form is he must go through subscription plans choice again, OR if I link menu item with Subscription Form, I must specify the plan, otherwise I get error message OSM_INVALID_MEMBERSHIP_PLAN if I don;t specify any.

You can publish the Joomla core Login module on your site homepage for example and users can use that module to login. Could you please try ?

Doesn't mean that Joomla core login form can talk to _osmembership_subscribers where all subscribers (username/password) are stored? I thought it is talking to _users table .

I tried that and it doesn't work when I put a test subscriber username and password to a joomla core login form.

Please don't get the username and password which you see in #___osmembership_subscribers table into Joomla core. Instead of doing that, simply edit the subscription record, change the status from Pending to Paid so that Membership Pro will create a Joomla account for that user.

After that, he can login using Joomla core login function.

Please try that and let me know the result
