Hi All
Today, we are happy to release new version of Membership Pro. This is a minor release with some new features and some small bugs fixed. Below are the details:
1. Improve tax rate feature :
- In the old version of the extension, if you will need to use a global tax rate for each subscription plan. That mean if you enable tax, all the plans will use the same tax rate. That's the limitation in some cases. In this new version, we allow each plan to have it own tax rate, that solves this limitation
2. We added a new config option to allows you to show price of subscription plan with/without tax. That is helpful in some countries where law requires that price need to be including tax when display to users in the front-end (before they make the subscription process)
3. We added a new filter to subscribers management screen so that you can filter subscription records (new subscription, renew subscription or upgrade subscription)
4. We improved the Joomla groups plugin: Now you can choose what groups users will be assigned to when their subscription for the plan is expired (seems it is clearer than removing users from group option)
5. Fixes an issue with article restriction plugins. In old version, we only allows you to restrict access to articles from first level categories. With this new version, the restriction can be done for any categories
6. Added support for K2: Now, you can restrict access to any K2 articles (in the same way as you restrict access to Joomla article)
7. We moved language items from plugin language files into component language file. It makes it easier to manage and change any language strings via translation function of Membership Pro
More changes are coming, but we would like to publish these changes so that you can use it if needed
