eDocman and Membership Pro

Hi,

I bought eDocman yesterday and I thought this is the perfect supplement for Membership Pro to sell downloadable products on a subscription basis. After playing around for a while I think there is no collaboration of the two components at all. Not even a plugin for eDocman support in Memberschip Pro. Is this true or am I missing something here?

Hi

No need for any integration, it is still a correct choice for you. The reason is because EDocman supports Joomla core ACL very well, so you can config EDocman and Membership Pro to give subscribers to download documents/files. The idea is:

1. Create a new Joomla group called Subscribers for example

2. Config Membership Pro so that when users sign up for the plan, they will be assigned to that Subscribers group

3. Config EDocman to give that Subscribers group to download your restricted documents

I perfectly understand the method how both components work, Nevertheless I expected some kind of integration, like adding files from eDocman to a membership plan or file downloads showing up in the member area view of Membership Pro. But okay maybe I was over expecting here.

How acces to file description without download button for standard member ? if file config to premium member the standard member dont see the file description
