Renewal before the expiry of subscription

Today I use version 1.5.4 for Joomla 2.5,
My (example) problem is this:

The expiration of a subscription is 30/11

The user renews his subscription on 20/11

On the 30/11 Membership Pro does the subscription expires, even though he has already bought the renewal.

Have you solved this problem in later versions?

Which payment plugin are you using. Does the payment transaction proceed normally? To test, sign up as a new subscriber with a 10c subscription plan (delete it after the test of course) and follow the transaction through all its stages. There should be two subscription records in this case. The firist one should be expired and it is correct. The second one should have the subscription start date is 01/12/2014 and that record should be active. So the subscription of the user should be still active ? Could you please check ?

I analyzed the problem in more detail, we must look to understand the times:

the first subscription have for example this period: FROM 2014-09-11 11:01:18 TO 2014-10-11 11:01:18
the second subscription have this period: FROM 2014-11-12 10:01:18 TO 2014-12-12 10:01:18

In the period 2014-10-11 11:01:18 --> 2014-11-12 10:01:18 there is no active subscription, and I think this is a mistake
