Custom Fields

Hi Tuan,

I could use this functionality for my rowing club also. What is the progress on a "user being able to edit custom field for a particular subscription field" instead of only the profile fields?

I need this as well. And it is very important for my user to change/edit the custom field on edit profile page.

Is it possible to have it by next week? I was not aware that the user cant edit the custom field when they login !

I would definitly need this feature as well, I though it was obvious when reading that this extension had "custom fields".

On top of that it would be really nice to have the possibility to choose if a fields is editable or just visible from the user profile page.

I would need some fields to be visible by users, but I wouldn't want them to edit them (i.e like Membership ID).

We will be releasing version 1.6.9 later today. On tomorrow, please download latest version, upgrade it to your site and you should be able to edit custom fields in user profile

This is great, thanks. Now... I do understand the one to many relationship of the fields and the complexity of having the same field for different plan and having different values. Let say my member want to upgrade. He will now have two plans in the system and the custom field will disapear from his profile for editing. In my wish list I would like (maybe there already a way):
On upgrade expire previous plan
ON expired plan, do not delete history but release custom fields for the new plan (Of course this client will have only one plan active)

In the mean time, is it possible to convert custom fields to core fields

Sorry, it is not possible. However, if you assign a custom field to "ALL Plans", it can be edited from profile page

Or if you just sign up for one plan, you should be able to edit all fields related to that plan on profile page
