Is there a shortcode available for the subscriber's username? Because the system is randomly allocating a password and will have to use the password recovery function, they will need to know their username.

Hi Ian
We don't have short code for username yet. You are using CSV import feature to import subscribers ? Please let me know so that I can think about it and find a solution

Yes, thank you Tuan. When the site goes live, we will be using CSV import. And another thought that popped into my head a few minutes ago. It might be a good long-term strategy to enable the use of shortcodes for custom fields. This would allow a very highly customized email to be sent.
Another future feature might also be the ability to add the contents of custom fields to the admin view eg. one of our custom fields is volunteer status and skill-set. At the moment, the only option is to export to CSV and interrogate the data in Excel.
Just a thought. And by the way, many thanks for your prompt replies.
