Multiple Registrations for Same Subscriber was created by JJ Spelman
Hi, I looked for a past post on this topic but found nothing. The issue I am dealing with is multiple subscriptions for the same person. The subscriber ends up listed twice in the admin area. but with separate transaction codes. Please see attached JPG.
I am running Membership Pro version 1.6.3, Joomla 3.3.3, JomSocial 3.2.0.5 all on SiteGround if that helps.
Thanks!

Hi Tuan, I have noticed similar issue on my site as well. The component allows same user to signup multiple time on same plan even after the user is Active subscriber for a plan. Do you have any idea what could be the problem. I would assume that once a user is registered for a plan, subscription option for that plan should not be visible for him/her. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shamik

Hi
Infact, at the moment, the extension doesn't prevent users from signing up for a subscription plan multiple times. However, in the latest version which I just updated to server, there is a config option called "Allow membership renewal X days before the subscription expired", you can set it to X days (for example 3 days) and users can only renew his membership 3 days before the subscription expired and that should solve the issue
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
that doesn´t solve the problem.
I need the each member only has one plan and nothing more.
How to achieve that?
Thanks!

Hi Filipe
That's not possible in the extension by default. You will need to customize the code of the extension to prevent that. I think it will take a dev about 1 to 2 hours of working and might cost you about 30$ for this modification !
Will try to think about it and might add support for it as a config option in the extension in the future (maybe in about 3 weeks from now)
