Use custom fields for user profile?

I'm considering using the custom fields in Membership Pro for a suitable membership profile for my users (instead of CB). A couple specific questions:

1. Can users edit info in custom fields in front-end?
2. Can a custom field be used for a profile photo?

1=> Yes. You can make a menu item to User Profile page in Membership Pro and users will be able to edit their custom profile from there.

2=> At the moment, it is not supported. That's something we will look at it in the future.
