Hi All
Today, we are happy to announce the release of Membership Pro version 1.6.4. This release fixes some small bugs in version 1.6.3 and also added some small but nice improvements :
1. We added support for custom fee field feature. From this version, you can create and add custom fee field to subscription form. The fee for subscription will be summary of plan subscription fee + any fee options which subscribers choose for their registration. This feature is really useful. For example, you can create a text custom fee field to allow users to make a donation when they sign up for membership :
- If they don't enter any donation amount into that custom fee field, they will just have to pay for the subscription fee (the price of the subscription plan)
- If they enter a donation amount, they will have to pay for subscription fee + the donation amount which they entered.
2. Auto update the subscription price using AJAX when users choose any fee options (created by custom fee fields in #1). By supporting this feature, users will see how much they have to pay when they choose a fee option, clear for them before they press "Process subscription" button to process the subscription.
3. We added support for auto populate the state dropdown based on the country which subscriber choose. This is useful for customers from some countries like US, Canada...
4. We fixed a bug with Paypal recurring subscription. In version 1.6.3, when a recurring payment for a subscription happens, the system could not update the subscription record. This is a major bug which I just awarded of, so if you are using version 1.6.3, please upgrade ASAP to version 1.6.4
5. We fixed a bug related to File upload custom field.
6. We also improved some codebase in this version.
If you want to update, simply login to your account, access to My Downloads menu item, see your order and download latest version from there, install that new version over old version. Don't worry about the old data, they will all be kept.
