Expired Members Not Automatically Removed

Hi there,

I've run into an issue where once a subscriber's membership has expired, they're not being removed from the Joomla Group that's assigned in the plan's "Remove from Joomla Groups" setting.

However, if I change the user's status manually, it works as it should. Is there a cron task that needs to be set up for this to work?

That's strange. What's the status of the subscriber ? Does it changes from active to expired automatically ?

Hi Tuan,

I renewed my membership for Membership Pro and upgraded to 1.6.3. It now works as it should, but I'm running into an issue where fields that aren't required still show the "This Field Is Required" message. I'd also rather have the fields description show as it did in 1.6.2 vs. 1.6.3 with the tooltip, as there's no indication that a description is available unless a user mouses over the label.

UPDATE: I installed version 1.6.3 on a basic test site and kept the fields as is (phone, fax and comments set to optional) ... still seeing "This Field Is Required". Is there a fix in the works for this?
