Automatic Renewals

Hello,

I am quite confused about the automatic renewals using the membership pro component.

When a persons annual renewal is up for expiry, how do they go about completing a renewal form?

As far as I can see, they need to fill out all their details again as a new user and if they try to use the same username, it tells them this username has already been taken.

Not only does this cause problems for longterm information such as "how long the person has been a member" this data will be new everytime their membership runs out?

Am I missing something with this component?

You can go to Membership Pro -> Configuration , look at Show Login box on sign up page, set it to Yes and users will be able to login before continuing his subscription. Also, the information on the form will be filled automatically by the system after you logged in, so you won't have to fill in it again unless you want to update !
