Auto Assign a Docman file on subscription ?

Hi, we are using MEMBERSHIP PRO and DMS.

We want to set so that upon a successful subscription, a DMS document automatically gets assigned to the membership and it shows on their document downloads .

Is that possible ?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. The only way is that you assign subscribers to a Joomla group, then setup DMS so that users from that group will get 100% discount.

By doing that, when users browse the documents in DMS, they be able to download these documents without having to pay. That's the only way for now.

I need one clarification:
Latest versions of docman uses Joomla (2.5 and 3) user groups.
Does it mean that "OS Membership - Docman plugin" is not needed and it can remain unpublished?
If "OS Membership - Joomla Groups plugin" assigns user to specific Joomla group, according to settings in Plan,
that means that answer is Yes.
I just want to be sure.

Yes, you are correct. You don't need OS Membership - Docman plugin with new version of Docman now. Just use Docman and Joomla Groups plugin in Membership Pro and everything should be OK !

Yes, we are using the user group feature for the OS Membership and DMS.

So, when a user registers, they get auto added to that special group and its done.
