Username error

We have a few complaints from users trying to sign up to our site, It seems that users are having trouble when entering there desired username. It comes up with an error warning and won't let them subscribe.

If they inout all there information and leave the username part till last it will then work. Can you please explain how I can stop this from happening.

This is the error that comes up once a new member tries to input there user name and email

Also the paypal subscribe button at the bottom is constantly on clock
