Cannot regester new user

When I try to work through the new member registration form, I put the user name in and I tab to next field. I get a pop up that says error and the system starts clocking and will not allow me to proceed. I am on Joomla 2.5.14 and seems to be cross browser issue. Please help.

It seems this issue is something related to AJAX request to validate username and sometime it happens (it happened 2 or 3 times before on some special sites).

Could you please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of the site so that I can ask my template developer to look at it and get it sorted right away ?
