My client just informed me that they want potential members to apply for membership, but their joining depends on the approval of a board, so I need to do the following:
accept their details,
keep a record of them
once they are approved send an invoice to be paid by paypal or another way
take payment
change the status to member.
I think it is possible. If that's the way, you will just simple use the extension with only Offline payment plugin activated. That should handle your requirement properly .
