Free Trial - how? was created by Pete Monfre
So far I love this extension. Way better than RSMembership.
Here's the question. I have set up three plans here: www.explorationnation.com/os-test
I've set the trial price to $0.00 with a 7 day duration.
But everything says "199.00" (the price of the plans). How do I get it to say "Start your free trial?" instead of "Sign Up".
I'd also like to turn off the price under "Sign Up"
Have a great New Years celebration. You've earned it!

Hi Pete
Maybe you should use default layout instead of columns layout to display Membership Plans in this case. Please do that and It should work as expected.
Regards,
Tuan

That is closer. Thanks. But I still need some tweaks.
I'd like to remove the blue box with "Duration and Price" - can you tell me where the file is located (path) to remove that box?
I'd like to change "Sign Up" to "Start Free Trial" - need path to that file too.
Finally, I need to understand what happens when the free trial is over. How does the user buy the trial? Is he sent to a payment page from a link in the email? Or does he log-in and get sent to a page that says "Trial subscription ended - click here to buy"?
Finally - is there a Menu Plug In? I see it referenced in the documentation but can't find it.

Hi
1=> To change the code, open the file components/com_osmembership/views/common/default_plans.php.
2=> If you just want to change sign up text, go to Membership Pro -> Translation, find the text and change it.
3=> Infact, when you setup a recurring plan with Free Trial, if users sign up it, the first time they sign up, they won't have to make actual payment. However, the payment for future has been registered with Paypal at the time, and when the free trial over, Paypal will process payment automatically, the users won't have to come back to your site to make payment.
Does it make sense ? Please let me know if you have other questions about this.
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks!
I changed it to "Start Free Trial"!
Got rid of the box on the category listing page - www.explorationnation.com/os-test
Now the box on the "Details" page www.explorationnation.com/os-test/homeschool shows up at the top of the page.
Need to turn it off there too. I will detail that information in the text.

Edit the file components/com_osmembership/views/plan/tmpl/default.php and you should be able to remove it.
