Offline Payment doesn't work was created by honesty
Hello,
When I check payment options at backend, I can see there is a option named "Offline Payment", I assume this allowed user to pay by bank transfer or some kind of offline payments, but I can't see anything when I publish this method, how does it work please? Thanks.

Hi
Yes. Offline payment allows subscribers to pay for the subscription manually (by bank transfer, by sending the money by cash directly....).
To make it works, please :
1. Go to Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages, make sure you change the offline payment email message (and thank you message) to reflect your bank account information. Usually, these messages should contain the guide how users can pay for you......
2. When users actual make the payment for you, you will need to access to Membership Pro -> Subscribers, edit the subscription record and set the status of the record to Active.
That's how it is designed to work. Hope it is clear to you. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask !
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks for your detailed reply Tuan, I publish the offline payment at backend. and there is a "tick" in "published" column to indicate this payment method is enabled, but I still can't see the option at frontend when I'm trying to subscribe a plan. Can you tell me how to enable this? BTW, in "Support Recurring" column, it's a red icon indicated it's disabled whereas Paypal option is enabled "support recurring", what's this? how to enable this as well? thanks Tuan.

Hi
I know the reason of the error now. A recurring subscription plan requires payment happens automatically (which is processed automatically by the payment gateway).
Since the Offline payment could not happen automatically (it requires manual sending payment to site admin via bank transfer for example...), It doesn't support recurring payment.
I believe the subscription plan you created is a recurring subscription plan and that's the reason offline payment is not displayed.
Hope the explanation is clear and make sense to you. It is not a bug, it is just how it is designed to work !
