Customer Logged Out While Filling Form

Hi Team,

I am experiencing a strange problem. I am using OS Membership for creating a renewal form. The form is quite long, and the users need to type paragraphs of text into it, so it takes them a long time to fill it out. After 20 minutes, if they submit the form, their informaiton vanishes and then they have to reenter everything again. How do I make the time longer, or fix this issue please? I cannot make the form smaller with less questions since I need all the answers and questions answered.

As replied via Skype chat, I believe the issue happens because Session Lifetime config option in your Joomla site is too short. Please go to Global Configuration of your site, change session lifetime to a larger number (for example 30) and It should be OK.

Please note this session lifetime is handled by Joomla core, so we could not change it (or fix it).
