EMail field auto populate was created by Bob Raikes

Is there a way to automatically get the email address completed from the Joomla registration when a subscriber is created that is already a Joomla user?

(Sorry posted in the wrong place - this should have been in Membership Pro)

Hi Bob

If users logged in when sign up for the plan, then yes, his email will be populated automatically on subscription form so that he won't have to enter it again !

Thanks for the response.

In our case, we are using the component to control subscriptions that are entered by an administrator as they will usually be part of a group subscription. Is there a way to do it?

Hi Bob

So you are saying that you enter subscription records from back-end ? In this case, we don't have any way to populate the emall yet, so you will need to enter it manually !

Yes, that's what I meant. It's a shame that the programme doesn't do a lookup as it already looks up the name!

Oh, It seems I don't understand your message. Could you please make a screenshot of the page? If it populate name, it should populate email !

Actually, after selecting a user that is already registered in Joomla, the name is shown in the "User" field, but does not complete the First Name, Last Name or email fields.

Ah, you are correct on that item. At the moment, we don't support that feature. But we are going to work on some improvements (planned takes 2 weeks) to Membership Pro from next week (which contains the item you are talking about).

So please be patient and wait for us !
