Activation always on Pending

Let me get it straight from you. How is your Membership PRO supposed to work?

a) After a successful payment from Paypal, why does subscription always default to pending instead of Active?

Is that what you have in mind or is a bug that has been menacing me all these while and you cannot write me back?

b) What will it take for you to improve your code so that a client receives immediate result after making a successful paypal payment. The way you have it, it looks like Admin has to go to the back end to keep tweaking "Pending Membership" into "Active Membership". If that's the intent, that's no automation, but 3rd world mediocrity. No aspersions intended. I am just frustrated with your treatment to me lately.

After what I consider a great review for you, it bugs me that you will not even pay attention to my problems after showing a great interest on your product.

Originally, my e-mail account was the problem and threw me off from using your product since I purchased and watched you re-wrote it to make it bettter in its current version. But now I have solved the e-mail problem, but your design can still not work for me. Is it an isolated problem unique to me? I don't want to keep getting e-mails from irrate customers if they cannot access the website after payment.

Right now, the system sends me an email for activation. After activation, it tells me my login is denied for one "stupid reason" or another. Then when I go to the back end, I see that the account is marked "not enabled and pending" WOW oh!!!!!!

I like you to solve the problem and I will not mind, sending you a few dollars for your time. All I want is for it to work because I like the "URL" Subscription Setup better than the mundane joomla ACL. I am proud to tell you that so far only yours has that capability in the whole Joomla community..

If only you can automate the payment process to meetup your wonderful design.

Okay, how much for you to custom-design it for me so that after successful payments through Paypal, activation is performed immediately.

You know I never ignore any customers. You know how patient I spent time to work with you in the past, so no worry about these issues. I am just too busy these days because I have to prepare for my new house. I think you know the feeling.

Back to your issue, it is not how the extension designed to work. As soon as you completed payment at Paypal :

1. Your subscription record must be set to active immediately

2. You and admin should receive notification emails from the system.

In case you haven't received it, there might some reasons :

1. Your Paypal account has IPN disabled. To check it, you can login to the Paypal account which receives payment, access to History -> IPN to see whether there are any IPN messages. If there are, what are the status of the messages ?

2. Your site has a security plugin like RS Firewall or Admin Tools pro which blocks Paypal IPN message. In this case, we will need to turn of it to check

3. Even maybe your server has Firewall software which blocks the IPN messages from Paypal.

I am very sorry to sound harsh.

Yes, you spend quite a lot of time with me during the early days. In the process, you made your software better and makes me proud to be part of it.

So from what you are saying, i can see why it is possible. The only problem is that there is no where in your documentation for IPN, even though others have a room for admin to add all that information.

Through out, I have set my Trial Payment To 0.10 cents to keep trying. Now my problems is that the e-mail I am using is not related to to my paypal account at all. Or I have to go to my Paypal e-mail to make sure the IPN is setup correctly.

Okay, it is a good assignment and I will dwell with now and report back.

We will fix the problem so that I can set making money with my projects. I have refused to change to another subscription because yours is the best so far.
