We have been getting an unusually large amount of spam registrations through our membership pro subscription plans. 5-10 per day. Before, we would get one only every couple of weeks. We have CAPTCHA enabled, yet it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any tips on what is causing this and what to do to minimize these spam registrations?
Thanks Tuan! I've installed it, do you have any suggested settings to help with the membership pro subscription sign-up? I've installed it and added the Akismet key as instructed. We've had several spam registrations today since setting up. It looks like it is geared more to forums/comments, what can I do to help with the registration?
In the latest version of Membership Pro , we have integrate Joomla core recaptcha and you should not have spam anymore. Could you please upgrade to the latest version, then enable captcha to see how it goes ?
