Remove cap on text in 'short description'?

Hi Tuan

Is it possible to remove the cap on the amount of text that can be put in the 'Short Description' field of each plan? It appears to cut the text on save.

I appear to have found a solution by changing the entry type in the database (short_description) from tinytext to text. Is this ok?
