get membership pro to read the exiting members

I cannot figure out how to get the members that I already have in user manager over to subscriptions. Our site is a running club where people pay a annual due for access to the club and site. Right now we just have them setup as users in user manager with Registered group access. We want to move them to the subscription service however not send an email to each of them since they are already members.

Unless you're a subscriber you cannot view your profile in the os membership profile. I dont want to have two different profile views on my site.


Please direct me on how to import all those users over from user manager.

The solution contains two steps :

1. Export your users into a csv file. Try to use the extension extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migrati...import-a-export/5430

2. Use Import subscribers feature in Membership Pro to import these subscribers into Membership Pro as explained at joomdonation.com/86-membership-pro/23141...s-from-csv-file.html

I have a few issues with that.

1. When I try to export with userport it just gives me commas?
2. Will membership pro keep the passwords of the existing users even though they are not exported?
3. how can I import the list without it sending the users and email?

1=> Yes. At the moment, the system will just export subscribers to csv files using comma separator. If you want it to be exported using semi-colon, we will need to edit the code alitle. Please submit a support ticket sending us FTP account of the site so that we can do that for you.

2=> Yes. The system won't change anything from existing users.

3=> The email is created automatically by Joomla users system. If you want no email is sent, before running the import, go to Extensions, Plugins Manager, find and unpublish the "User - Joomla!" plugin. After completing the import, you should publish that plugin again.

What I mean by commas is that's all that shows up. No data. Just commas. This happens when I chose all fields to export.

I want to export addresses too but it doesn't show anything.
